Moving the licence to another Mac
Deactivate the old device to free its seat.
Each licence covers a maximum number of devices, shown in the purchase email.
If you still have the old Mac
- Open the app on the old Mac and go to the licence screen.
- Choose the deactivation command: the seat is freed immediately.
- On the new Mac, activate the licence as described in How to activate a licence.
If the old Mac is no longer available
If the computer is broken, sold or erased you cannot deactivate it from the app. Write to us from the purchase email address: once the licence is verified we deactivate the old device from the console and the seat becomes available again.
Reinstalling the app on the same Mac does not use a new seat.
